I took a course in 2017 designed to teach ways of representing information as part of a larger theme or narrative. For my project, I decided to take a look at cities (New York as an example), and how various people interpret this environment differently. A central metaphor in this work was an examination of signage and how different personas might react differently to this medium in their day-to-day lives.
The book starts with my process of assembling ways to represent relevant information (mind maps, icons, typologies, etc.) and incorporates my own photography, design, and illustrations.
